MYTH: You'll get arthritis if you crack your knuckles.

FACT: There is no evidence that cracking your knuckles occasionally will directly cause arthritis. That being said, if you're cracking your knuckles all the time in an agressive manor you could injure the soft tissues, especially the cartilage, which can cause the joints to swell. Keeping up this habit eventually it may lead to premature degeration of the joint aka arthritis.
